It's finally here after a TON of requests! This Candy Land Place Value Bundle! This place value game will help your students learn with a familiar game board. I have a huge to do list of math games. Stay tuned and check out my other games here, all in one place!
80+ Candy Land Games
This place value game covers the following all in one bundle:
All games have hundreds, tens & ones
Short Word form
*Identifying the digits as well as their values in the ones, tens, and hundreds place.
Base 10: The students need to be able to count the base ten blocks in order to move for that particular game.
Standard Form: The students need to be able to identify the value of the underlined digit before they can move to the designated spot.
Expanded Form: The students need to be able to solve the problem and say the standard form of the number in order to move.
I have included the "pink cards" for all the different Candy Land boards. The brand new board includes a spinner. Skip the spinner and use the cards. Of course, you will need your own Candy Land game board. I used all kinds of different ones that I pick up at garage sales.
The students need to be able to say the answer of the picture card or number card in order to move to the color on their card. If they can't figure it out, a partner can help them but they stay put.
Print out one sheet of the pink cards depending on the game boards you have.
Another tip is to write what set (place value) on the back of each card (before or after you laminate them).
This can be used in a guided math station or as a math center. This can be used for your at risk, on-level, or advanced students depending on your grade level. This can be used in an RTI group or larger group depending on how many game boards you have. Print as many games as you want for one class only though. 120+ Candy Land games: Dolch pre-primer,primer,first,second and third grade sight words, contractions, compounds, blends, digraphs, diphthongs, nonsense, Fry's first 100, 200 and 300 words, addition and subtraction games + many more!
