This math resource allows students to practice their money skills with fun Valentine’s Day themed activities (set up to be used as centers) and worksheets. Coin denominations used in this resource are 1¢, 5¢, 10¢ and 25¢ and are not country specific. Amount totals are from $0 to $1.00. This resource includes:
Coin Copycats- students compare answers with a partner to see if they are coin copycats; whether they used the same coins to make an amount or not. This is used to demonstrate how many different ways the coins can be used make the same amount.
Candy Store Cash Out- students match up each receipt with 2 money cards representing the total
Counting Coins- students add up the coins to find the total
Ring It Up- students solve money word problems
Coins for Candy- students pay the candy store receipt by drawing coins equal to it
All worksheets come in both color and black and white depending on your printing needs.
