PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Finish your study of The Canterbury Tales with this engaging storytelling project from Spark Creativity. Students will write and perform their own tales for each other and vote for their peers in three awards categories.

You can have students perform in class, or create a storytelling pilgrimage of your own around the school. I like to finish our pilgrimage with food and music, awarding the final certificates at the end of the class period after tallying the votes. Depending on how many students you have and how long your class periods are, your final performances may stretch across two class days, in which case your pilgrimage can simply pick up on the final day where it left off the day before.

What's included in the packet:
Educator's Guide
What Makes a Good Story Activity
Project Guidelines
Performance Rubric
Festival Ballot
Awards Certificates for Three Categories
