This colorful file folder game allows students to practice identifying words in a sentence that should be capitalized OR should not be capitalized.
Students move along the game board each time a correct answer is given. The first player to the end, wins!
This game goes along with Grade 3 Reading Street. However, you do not have to use Reading Street in order to play the game.
This is easy to assemble.
title for front of file folder,
title for tab of file folder,
label for ziploc bag to store materials,
mini anchor chart about capital letters,
2 anchor charts,
24 question cards,
rules for Scoot,
student response sheet,
and an answer key.
There are two sets of game rules. You decide which one you want to use. You can use a die or you can use a penny. (heads=1 space, tails=2 spaces). I like to use a penny because it is cheap and files flat.
