PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This PowerPoint slideshow will help your students identify capitalization errors in sentences. All thirty errors are fully explained: titles of respect (Doctor Gonzales and President Lincoln), names of pets (Stinky and Sneaky), first names of people (Janet and Jack), names of lakes (Discovery Lake) and days of the week (Saturday) and parks (Sequoia National Park) and cities (Cincinnati) and states (Pennsylvania) and buildings (Highland Fire Station and Holiday Inn) and airports (Middleton Airport), the first word in a sentence and the first word in a quotation.

Each sentence is based on a funny .gif image and the entire slideshow is fully animated (just click on the arrow to advance to the next slide). This lesson is perfect for whole-class instruction, and you can place it on student-computers for independent review.
