Description
These capitalization task cards making learning fun! Included are 28 task cards along with a student answer sheet for 24 task cards an 28 task cards. Simply print, cut, laminate and you're ready to go. You can store them in a zip top bag or hole punch one corner and put them on an "o" ring.
I used these with my students as part of our whole group practice and independent practice. You could use them in a game of scoot, in a reading center, as part of Daily 5 or for homework practice by sending a few home each night.
The capitalization rules covered are:
- pronoun "I"
- first letter of the sentence
- proper nouns
- first letter in a quote
- titles of people (mayor, president, principal, etc.)
- groups of people (Italians, Catholics, Americans)
- streets, cities, states, countries and continents
- titles of works (songs, poems, books, articles, etc.)
- days, months, holidays
- exceptions (Mom, Earth, Oceans, etc.)
