Description
This is a technical theater project I use to introduce costume design. It gets students to think about color and style beyond their own preferences and to examine how fashion choices communicate character.
Students will create a capsule wardrobe for a character of their choice and present the wardrobe to their classmates. This package includes a project handout, slideshow to go over the handout, a concept development worksheet, instructions, and a rubric.
This project is intended for use with advanced theater or technical theater classes. It includes Open Document, PPT/DOC, and PDF files for each resource.
