In this game, students are required to roll two dice and create an array from the number that they roll. If a student rolls a 4 and a 5, their array with have those dimensions. They are also required to write a COMPLETE multiplication sentence inside the array box for it to count. The idea is to capture the most arrays out of the grid as possible! I remember playing something to similar this at restaurants as a kid (lol)!
To make it reusable, simply have students put their board in a plastic sleeve and use whiteboard markers instead of pencil crayons to colour in the arrays that they capture! Reusable fun, and great practice for using this multiplication strategy.
Students can also be challenged by using 9 sided dice :)
