Product Description
Use this St. Patrick's Day themed packet to teach and practice inferring skills with your 3rd-5th grade students. Included in the packet:

Anchor Chart - Use to introduce what it means to infer. This page can also be posted as a learning target each time this packet is used.

Task Cards - students read the paragraph, then answer the question. 24 task cards are included with QR codes to check answers. Cut apart and laminate for added durability.

Riddles – Can you read the clues to figure out which object related to St. Patrick’s Day is being described? Students can check their answers with the QR codes. An additional page with pictures of the vocabulary words is also included. Cut apart and laminate for added durability.

Challenge – Students take turns reading a clue card to see if they can figure out which person is being described.

NOTE: You will need a QR code reader on your smart phone or tablet in order to utilize the QR codes in this packet. You can search for a QR reader/scanner in the App Store or Google Play store, and many free options will come up. To use the QR codes, simply open the app, point the camera on your device at the QR code, and let the app scan and display the information.
