My students LOVED this activity! First, start with a web quest on greenhouse gas emissions. Students will learn about the most abundant greenhouse gases, how humans add gases to the atmosphere, and how carbon dioxide is creating a problem for the atmosphere. Students will be able to calculate how many tons of greenhouse gases they could save by changing a few habits at home. Then, take students to another site to calculate their carbon footprint, and have students find out what day of the year we'd run out of resources as well as how many earths we'd need if everyone lived just like them. Students can display their results in a visual project. Enjoy!
