LOUD-SOFT

You first have to establish the concept of the opposite meanings of loud and soft sounds. Even though this should be an easy skill for kindergarteners and first graders, they will need to solidify and “fine tune” this skill as they develop the ability to hear the more subtle nuances between dynamic markings.

HIGH-LOW

Teaching the concept of high and low sounds to children is sometimes difficult. This item is a set of colorful visuals and activities to help students learn about the high and low sounds in music. Use the picture cards to play fun games and activities while they learn about the piccolo and tuba. Posters and picture cards included.
