Product Description

This is used for an interactive notebook for specific genres. You will need scissors and glue.

I usually print the first page with the terms on card stock and have the students cut it out and glue in it in their journals with liquid glue. You want to cut it out so that the flaps open upwards and you can then sort and glue the definitions on the bottom.

After the card sort is glued in, I give each student the half sheet of paper and have them sort the words with the correct term. Once students finish, I check it and then they can glue it under the appropriate flap. I tell them to glue in the definitions with a glue stick. This helps because it makes less of a mess and then if there is glue left behind it will not stick to the flap.
