Students must match the graph to its linear factors and to the quadratic function in Standard Form. They also must identify the zeros of the function. This activity is intended to help students make the connection between the linear factors of the quadratic function and the zeros of the graph.
This would be great for left side practice in an interactive notebook!
An answer key and recording sheet are included.
There are 3 different card sets of the activity for differentiation. The first version has all the cards, the second has only the factors, so students must multiply them out to find standard form, and the last version has a mixture of factors and equations.
The activity corresponds to the Texas Algebra 1 TEK A7.B: describe the relationship between the linear factors of quadratic expressions and the zeros of their associated quadratic functions (supporting).
