Why not think while you play bingo?! That’s right. These Thinking Bingo © games are both fun to play as well as educational! There are three ways to play so that the game appeals to both players who know little about the bingo game topics, as well as players who know a lot on the topic and want a challenging way to play…where they have to know the answer to a given clue to mark their card.
Although the words bingo are not actually used in the game, the game is played in a similar fashion: three in a row or black out a card to win (for a longer game). An average game will take about 15 minutes to get a winner-perfect for a classroom.
Depending on how much time you plan to spend on the game, you may get to play more than one round. I usually have my students pair up with someone to play on the same card with. But they can play individually too of course.
These games are a great way to review for a test or just to play for fun. Excellent for homeschooling parents, teachers, after school extended day programs, and even for adults wanting to see how much they know about their heart health and anatomy.
These are my original game pieces. Each card is meant to be look slightly imperfect and different than the others to give the game an “artsy” look. Just cut out the playing cards to adjust border size you desire, then cut out the clue cards, laminate them, and play for years to come!
My students love playing these games! I hope you enjoy them as well.
