This document makes 30 cards of animals with their sounds.
You can use these cards either as flash cards or matching cards. Students find these cards more motivating than a worksheet.
Print these cards on label paper (Avery 3652) and then stick them on a bigger piece of thick coloured paper. Put these cards in card sleeves (used for magic cards and such).
The animals with their sounds are graded in three different levels.
Tip: use three different colours of thick paper to indicate level.
As flash cards:
Put the sound card on one side of the paper and the animal it belongs to on the other side of the paper.
Have your students quiz themselves or each other.
As matching cards:
Put the animal and it's sound on separate pieces of paper.
Use all cards of one level at the same time and have your student match the animals with their correct sounds.
Have fun! (my students do too)
