This is a budget activity lesson where students decide on a job (based on personal interests), decide a salary, find a place to live, and buy a car. Students are also asked to budget for expenses such as gas, car insurance, cell phone, cable, electricity, water, student loan repayment, and food. Students pick "wants" to purchase and are subjected to life's unexpected expenses. In the end, they must decide whether their lifestyle and budget choices fall within their means.
