The Career Center is designed to encourage students to make connections between what they are learning in class and what is required in a specific career. Students can research job openings using search engines, news papers, or other related resources.
In today\'s economy, it is more important than ever to be prepared to enter the workforce. The Career Center gives the students an opportunity to begin researching the types of jobs available, as well as the skills and education required.
A binder can be used to organize the students\' forms and can be displayed in the classroom for student use. The teacher can use the Career Center to stress the importance of making real-world connections with the material learned in class. The teacher may also use this as a tool to incorporate writing into Biology.
