This career education classroom guidance lesson introduces students to the concept of turning hobbies into careers! Students go on a "hobby walk" to identify their own hobbies, work in groups to identify traits related to specific hobbies, and identify careers that are aligned with those traits and hobbies.
Includes 60 hobby visual aids/posters, lesson plan (objectives, outline, materials list, ASCA standards alignment), handout, and group handouts.
I use this lesson with grades 4-6.
