Do you need a school counseling career interest inventory that can be used for both distance learning and face-to-face lessons? Well, look no further! This resource includes options for both online and paper-based career interest inventories to guide your students, or even your own child, in their search for the perfect career. The inventory results are useful tools in helping children/teens select their classes, start their college planning, and even create their personal graduation plans! The inventories included will guide them in using their strengths and interests to identify the career of their dreams! This resource includes a checklist for students to identify their interests/strengths, information on the 16 career clusters, a rating scale to help them chose their top 3 career clusters, and more! This activity is appropriate for children in upper elementary to high school because it includes various leveled activities. It is aligned with the American School Counselor Association standards.
Distance Learning Instructions- This resource can be easily adapted for online learning. For your mature students, just send them the online version and have them work through it on their own- they can even email you their discussion question responses! Alternately, videotape yourself leading students through the online directions and then have students complete their own online inventory. They can then verbally answer the discussion questions through the medium of your choice, such as Zoom or Flipgrid.
