Must have Smart Notebook to view 2 of the files here. This is an interactive class activity where students will use the SmartBoard and sample copies of introductions and conclusions to identify all the parts involved in writing introductions and conclusions using the instructions page of the activity. This goes along with activity 3 of the Career Narrative Research Schedule. I use after students are done writing body paragraphs of rough draft. Before they complete this activity, it may a good idea to teach them the general parts of all introductions (hook, bridge, thesis) and conclusions (restatement of thesis, final lasting thought). I have a handout in here that explains all of the pieces I want in both the introduction and conclusion for this specific paper. Great activity for inclusion setting classrooms!
