This bundle utilizes various items pertaining to learning style, study habits, grit scales, lifestyle factors, RIASIC assessments interest profilers, career research, left brain vs. right brain assessments, and how to choose a major to help your students more adequately think about and plan for their futures. Start off your course or break up the worksheets as you go! There is a final worksheet which allows students to record all of their findings on one page to include in a student portfolio.
Over the course of teaching College and Career Readiness, I have found that often students have an idea of what they want to do when they enter the workforce but upon further research, they realize that their lifestyle factors, income goals, or even their interests don't line up with the careers they seek. This bundle is a great introductory assignment, or assignments, to introduce students to themselves a bit more prior to seeking out specific careers!
Resources are listed separately in one place for teacher reference and include additional resources including a printable interest inventory and even a FAFSA 4Caster if you would like your students to begin preparing for the costs of post-secondary education based on their Expected Family Contribution (EFC).
