These materials were designed for articulation practice of words in increasing complexity using the Cariboo Magical Treasure Hunt Game.
Select the spinner and matching Cariboo cards for the level of complexity you will address.
Take turns spinning. Name the item in the space on which the spinner stops. Open the Cariboo door that has the matching picture.
If the spinner stops on an item for which the door has already been opened, the student produces the target word, but loses a turn opening a door.
If the spinner stops on FREE, the player may choose to open any door on the Cariboo board.
Adapt to the student’s level by having them produce a word, phrase, or sentence.
