Aligned with the 2013 FSL curriculum in Ontario, this is the student outline for a final project to wrap up a Carnaval de Quebec unit. The project includes the creation of an itinerary outlining 5 activities the students choose to visit for Carnaval, with times and descriptions. This would be best completed if students have access to looking up activities on the Carnaval website, or have prior knowledge of the activities at Carnaval.
The handout includes:
- Student outline (designed into steps that can be assigned different due dates)
- Single-point rubric (can be used to give descriptive feedback or checklist) aligning with the 2013 curriculum for a writing mark
- Sentence starters for the itinerary (which I gave to my class as a rough copy but this can be used for differentiated instruction as well)
