Looking for a fun interactive review game to reinforce your students knowledge of United States coins and addition in math? This fun, quick, no-print, no-prep activity will be an immensely popular resource with your young students! It comes with two separate games (10 questions each) and two versions of each (one with older coins and one with newer coins). In both games, students see how much an activity or item (at the carnival) costs. Then they add up the money in the piggy bank to see if there is enough money to participate in that activity or to purchase the item. This game is in pdf form so make sure you have the type of software (such as Adobe Acrobat) to open it.
Suggestions for how to Use: Have students work in groups, use the activity as a workstation or center on your Smartboard (or projected whiteboard) or as a fun way to review or conclude your money unit.
For those of you who use a Mac, make sure to open the file in Adobe Reader so the hyperlinks will work.
