I create a variety of activities for the book, We're All Wonders. The activities include:
Discussion Questions: These can be printed out, laminated and then used either in individual or group therapy. They can also be used in the classroom with the students broken up into groups.
I am a Wonder Worksheet: This worksheet is for students to express why they think they are wonder. What makes them special? What is a wonder? This is an excellent activity to be used in therapy or the classroom.
I Feel worksheet (to be used with feelings board): This worksheet to help the student reflect on the emotions of the main character Auggie. With the visual board of feelings this can help a student determine a strong emotion that Auggie felt during the story. The visual support of the feelings board and the opportunity to draw a picture of Auggie (when feeling this particular emotion) can help a student reflect on the story with more depth.
Retell a Story Visual Chart: This visual chart can help a student reflect on the story and retell the events with more details. When the student is retelling the story, use prompts and "wh" questions to determine more details that occurred in the story.
