Tired of typing up notes for your students only to find that they are not reading them? Are you students refusing to take advantage of the millions of online resources that are available? Maybe it is time for something different. Maybe it is time that we go "low-tech"!
Save time in class and give the students these printable notes!
This set of notes introduces the distance formula and relates it to the Pythagorean Theorem. There are 10 pages of explanations, cartoon characters and examples for them to try.
Personal story: As a student in school I was always daydreaming and doodling on my notes. Certain teachers thought I was not paying attention but it was actually an effective way for me to organize my thoughts. When I was taking a test I could remember the cartoon images on my notes and therefore remember the facts.
**Suggestion: Students are never too old to color! I would suggest they color the notes themselves to make them more vibrant. (If you are interested in colored notes please email me. Given school budgets are at an all time low it might not be reasonable to print colored notes.)
**More cartoon notes coming as soon as I can get them uploaded. Please contact me if you would like any custom notes for any Pre-Algebra, Algebra or Geometry Topic.
Please take a moment to check out my other cartoon notes along with my other products. If you are pleased with this download I would appreciate any feedback you would be willing to leave!
