Writing in Math- Unknown number Problem solving.Students are asked to pick a strategy, draw, write and number sentence and explain solution.
Unknown Number Sort- Students will sort number sentences based on the unknown number.
Unknown Number Mix and Pair- 2 activities in one. Can be used either to assist whole group instruction on using fact families to solve for unknown numbers, or as an enrichment activity for higher learners.
Search of Froglock Holmes- A fun and engaging game that has students "searching" for Froglock Holmes as they solve for unknown whole numbers.
Craft in Math- A cute magnifying glass math craftivity.
Bulletin Board Idea and Activity- A bulletin board idea using the math craftivity, and additional activity to make the bulletin board interactive.
Part-Part-Whole Mat and counters- Manipulatives to assist students during whole group instruction or during any and all center activities included.
