This is an ear training worksheet for beginning pianists. Play major seconds and major thirds throughout (these may be broken or blocked, depending on your student’s level). Give your student an example of each prior to going through the worksheet. If you play a major second, the student should draw a line from the cat to the top row of 2 mice. If you play a major third, the student should draw a line from the cat to the bottom row of 3 mice.
As a variation, play 2 or 3 "sounds" or pitches and let the student draw a line to correct row of mice.
I suggest laminating this worksheet and using a dry erase marker to save paper and get the most use out of it!
