Product Description
This is the dumbest, most pointless PowerPoint game I've ever created. But the thing is, the kids think it's fun! They simply chase the fruit round the screen with the mouse pointer trying to click on it while it jumps around in all different random directions.

Educational value, zero; fun aplenty! I divide the class into two teams and then, before we start, I show the first slide which is the teacher's example. It's in slow motion to help even the most helpless teachers on a computer - you can't fail to catch the fruit so you won't look like a plum!

So then you choose a player from team A to start. They come up to your laptop. You advance the slide and the fruit will start to move around the screen randomly. Student tries to catch it by clicking on it. Points will pop up if the student is successful. If they can't get it before it disappears, no points. The student then chooses a player from team B to come up for the next one.

At the end, the last two slides have two fruits jumping around the screen to add difficulty.

I used this game recently as a 10 minute time filler at the end of a rather dull grammar lesson. Sometimes you just need to lighten the mood. Interestingly, these were grade 12 students (17, 18 years old) and they thought it was hilarious watching their friends. I think it would work with adults and possibly from as low as upper primary too, but haven't tried yet.

Hope you have fun with it!
