1. Students consider a list of leprechaun traits and use those characteristics to determine the best way to capture a leprechaun.
2. One a leprechaun is caught, he has to grant you three wishes! But he will offer you a pot of gold to release him instead. Which would you choose? The wishes or the gold? Why?
3. Leprechauns may grant three wishes but they are tricky little guys! They try to turn the wish around and into a trick! There once was a man who wished for a castle, a lot of money, and to be the ruler of an island. The leprechaun granted the wish but there were no other people on the island and no store for him to spend his money! How could he have changed his wishes? What wishes would you make? How could you make sure the leprechaun doesn't trick you through your wishes!
