Students will be provided with 20 terms, phrases, images, and quotes from the Revolutionary War time period. They will create 3-6 categories based on the terms they are given. Students will then place all terms in the categories. Groups will create a thesis statement demonstrating how the categories are all related. Each member of the group will then write a topic sentence about one of the categories. The group will then add the thesis and topic sentences together to create one paragraph that will be the introduction to a group informative essay.
