Product Description
The Hertzsprung-Russell (H-R) diagram is a graph that is widely used in astronomy to categorize and graph stars. The plot is made by assuming that all stars are at a set distance of 10 parsecs (32.6 light years) from earth. By doing this, comparisons can be made of the size of the star with relationship to its luminosity.

Students will use the HR Diagram to state how stars can be graphically organized according to color, temperature, and size.
