- 6 large category images
- 60 category items ( 10 for each large category )
- 6 sentence strips
- 6 pages that can be used as extra practice or a workbook
- 1 cover page for workbook
** How to Use**
Choose two, or more, large category images and their corresponding clothespins. There are 10 items for each category. Place the large image in front of the student and mix the clothespins up on the table.
Have the student clip the clothespin to the correct large category image.
In each category there are 5 pairs of images that can be broken down into small categories e.g.: In the food category there are an apple and banana. These two clips can be targeted to identify the subcategory of fruit. Then the student can state additional items that would fit into this subcategory.
There are included sentence strips that the student can clip the item onto and state what category it is in.
Also included are pages to make a category book. These pages can be sent home as extra practice or combined to make a category book. There is a cover page and one page for each category targeted in this activity (food, jobs, animals, transportation, clothing, and household items.
