Categories are fun with this packet that is chock-full of activities that can be used to teach and practice categorization in speech therapy sessions or in the classroom.

Activities in this packet include:

File Folder Games

Interactive Books

No-Prep Worksheets

There are three file folder games included in this packet. Two of the folders work on category sorting. The third folder works on labeling categories.

There are two interactive books included in this packet. The first book targets these five categories: animals, fruit, vehicles, colors, and numbers. The second book targets these five categories: letters, shapes, desserts, toys, and flowers. Students are asked to complete a sentence about an item by stating the category. E.G., “Purple is a color.”

There are a total of seven worksheets included. The first four work on category sorting, and the last three target category labeling.

Your students will be engaged by using a variety of activities to target two goals- category sorting and labeling. You will be excited by the ease of use of the activities!
