This caterpillar activity can be used to review different ways to represent numbers including number words, tally marks, and tens & ones.
I made this activity black and white so it can easily be copied onto colored cardstock. Copy the 3 caterpillar head pages onto one color of cardstock, laminate, then cut out each of the 12 rectangles. Then copy each of the 3 remaining pages onto 3 different colored cardstocks, laminate and cut out the circles. Students will then match the number word, tally marks, and tens & ones circles to the coresponding number on the caterpillar's head, and complete the worksheet.
Number included in this activity are 8,13,15,17, 22, 24, 31, 36, 45, 53, 67, and 70.
