    Description

Do your students need visual support as they practice the reading comprehension skill of cause and effect? Do you have English Language Learners or students that are reading below grade level and need differentiated materials so that students can practice?

This set of task cards has short fiction stories and nonfiction passages for students to read and then determine the cause and effect. There are also simple sentences with pictures for students to sort. Some of the sentences match up to the first two levels of reading passages along with additional practice sets.

    Differentiated

The passages are written at three different reading levels (different stories at each level). There is also a set of photographs where students can write down or orally tell what they think the cause and effect of something happening in the picture is.

A recording sheet, answer key, and black and white printing versions are included.
