Use these "Cause and Effect Clip and Flip Games" in your classroom to assess student understanding of cause and effect in an enjoyable way!
There are two versions of the game cards. There are four game cards of each version.
With the classic clip and flip version, students read a cause and effect statement. One part, either the cause or the effect, is underlined. The student places a paper clip on either the cause or effect box, flips the card, and checks to see if he/she is correct.
The second version, the "You Create" version, is a great way to challenge students! Give a student an unfolded blank clip and flip card. He/she writes a cause and effect statement and underlines either the cause or effect as the card specifies. They assemble the card and give it to a friend (or the teacher) to play to check their work.
These cards are great for centers, assessment, and more! Enjoy!
