This two-page cause-and-effect worksheet can be used with any event in history (ex. American Revolution, Civil War, the Black Death plague, WWII, the fall of the Roman Empire, etc.). Students first complete a cause-and-effect chart on the event as a whole. Then, on back, students choose two specific events during that same larger event to complete two other charts (ex. In American Revolution, students might choose the Boston Tea Party or the Boston Massacre). This is a great way to combine Language Arts and Social Studies standards!
