In this Tic-Tac-Toe game, students will choose between two types of game boards: SayIt! and Name It!.
There are 7 different Say It! games. Topics include: American Revolution Overview, the Stamp Act, the Tea Act, the Boston Tea Party, First Continental Congress, and the Second Continental Congress.
Player 1 will choose a square and say the word(s) relating to the causes of the American Revolution. He or she will then place a symbol (x or o) on that square. Player 2 will go next. First player to get three of his or her symbols in a row wins the game.
Player 1 will choose a square and answer the question. If the student gets the answer correct, he or she will place a symbol on that square. Player 2 will go next. The first player to get three of his or her symbols in a row wins the game.
I've included symbol cards for students to use. Simply print on cardstock and laminate for durability. You could also laminate the game boards and have your students use dry erase markers to write their symbols.
I also have games for South Carolina's Explorers, South Carolina's Regions, People of the Carolina Colony, and South Carolina's Native Americans.
