Two-sided graphic organizer covering causes of the American Revolutionary War such as the Tea Act, Boston Massacre, and the Intolerable Acts. Designed on printer friendly black and white paper. Download includes a key.
1) Break students into nine groups. Assign each group of cause to research. Allow students to use textbooks, notes, and other classroom resources to fill in each box for their cause. Have students present their cause of the war to the class while the rest of the class fills in their charts.
2) Have all students fill out their charts. Then have a blank copy of the graphic organizer displayed on the board and randomly call on students to go up and fill in a certain box.
3) Assign graphic organizer as homework after unit has been covered to help review for an upcoming test or quiz.
