Helping students to research and learn about the reasons the United States fought the Civil War. Includes the "4" S's. I have used this as a group activity, individual activity, homework or with a gallery walk.
Organizer has 3 Parts.
Part A = Events leading up to the Civil War, and asking students to assess how the North and South would have reacted to those events.
Part B= Defining the 4 S's = Sectionalism, Secession, State's Rights and Slavery
Part C= Students use the information in the Graphic organizer to create a poster depicting the 4 S's. Great to display in the classroom:)
Love this lesson!
