Description

With this engaging activity, students access the causes of the Great Depression by analyzing a variety of primary and secondary sources - including charts, graphs, quotes from historians, primary source quotes, and visuals. Although the stock market crash as often cited as the primary cause of the crash, there were many underlying economic issues that ran as an undercurrent in the 1920s. This resource takes those underlying issues and makes then accessible to students.
