Street signs are ALL around us and they are great to help teach perimeter! This activity is used to help students practice finding the perimeter of a polygon. It contains directions, 16 cards, recording sheet, answer key, example page and objective page.
12 of the cards have measurements for all of the sides of each polygon. The last 5 cards have 1-2 sides missing to help challenge the students' thinking.
The recording sheet has the students draw out the polygons, use work space to find their answer, and write the answer. It also has 4 extension questions about perimeter for the students to answer in complete sentences.
This activity is great in a small group setting for guided math or centers! I hope you enjoy it! Please leave some positive feedback if you do! :)
