This is a revised and updated ELA/Social Studies Thematic Unit for Hispanic Heritage Month for Grades 2-3. Students will learn about what Hispanic Heritage month is about and why we celebrate it through reading and writing activities. Students will learn about the countries we celebrate during this month, locate them on a world map, and write a report about one of these countries. They will also learn some Spanish words during this unit. ELA CCSS included for 2nd and 3rd Grade.
