Setting individual and class goals with your students is important. What is even more important is celebrating when your students meet those goals. Nothing can be more frustrating than when you meet a goal and then it's time for the next goal, without really reflecting and enjoying that you met that goal.
I have never been great at this part of goal setting, but it's an important step that I need to quit grazing over. In comes Celebration Central. Celebration Central gives me the opportunity to celebrate my students achievements without breaking the bank. Students are excited to sit down at our class meeting, exclaim that they met their goal, pick from Celebration Central in front of their peers, and then of course... Celebrate!
In this resource, you will find:
-Tracking Goals sheet
-A letter to send home to parents explaining their child met a goal
-All About Goal Setting & Celebrating Your Goals Brochure (for parents)
-Celebration Central tag, explanations, & cards/coupons (21 included)
-"I Met A Goal" certificates
-"I Met A Goal" brag tags
-"Ask Me About My Goal" badges
-Picture frames (to display class celebrations in the hallway)
*I made Celebration Central for my first grade class; however I feel that many kids celebrating goals would enjoy Celebration Central.
