This download taps into what many students love, celebrities and social media, and it makes grammar something they learn to love. That's right, this makes grammar fun!
People have idolized the rich and famous for a long time. Nonetheless, this activity will have students nitpicking what their favourite celebrity has to say. Specifically, what certain celebrities have tweeted over Twitter.
This is a great Friday activity or a fun way to gauge what your students already know about some of the grammatical rules.
Students will have access to thirty celebrity tweets showcasing grammatical mistakes. Upon identifying the mistake(s), students simply fix up the glaring errors.
This activity differentiates itself well to all students, as it's challenging enough for your most gifted students. Yet it still offers multiple entry points for your lower students.
An answer key is not included, as some tweets can be edited in numerous ways.
