The Cell Cycle is the life cycle of a cell.
Growth and repair are the reasons why cells are produced.
Chromosomes are the structures that DNA is organized into.
Binary fission is when the cell splits into two parts. This creates two identical cells. Prokaryotic cells.
Humans have 46 chromosomes. We get 23 chromosomes from our mothers and 23 chromosomes from our fathers.
Homologous chromosomes have the same sequence of genes and the same structure.
Mitosis is a process of cell division that forms two new nuclei, each of which has the same number of chromosomes
