This is an informational text and coloring activity all about the cell cycle in animal cells. You're talking about all these chromosomes and if you know your root words then you know you need a little coloring!
There are 4 pages total for the first version of the Animal Cell Cycle Coloring and Analysis:
✿Page 1- all inclusive information text that talks about the cell cycle in animal cells from interphase to cytokinesis, and all structures and processes between.
✿Page 2- Information Organization: Table summary
✿Page 3- Information Organization: Root words and open response
✿Page 4- Coloring!
This resource includes two versions to choose from - there is a differentiated version for struggling readers, which contains 5 pages. The differences include larger spaced out text (the first page is divided into two), and more fill-in options to help prompt students to find the information more easily. The coloring is the same for both versions.
This makes great classwork, but because it is self-contained it could also be used as a sub plan or homework. As always, designed for student comprehension.
