Product Description
Looking for something hands on with the cell cycle that engages students? This activity guides students through making a foldable cell cycle and a mitosis turn table all in one! It's a great review of what has already been taught, and it can be as detailed or as general as you want. Students are lead step by step through the process by powerpoint that includes detailed instructions on how to complete this activity using notes from previous lessons, so you don't have to worry about students struggling to follow complicated directions for this type of activity.

Materials needed:
-Cell division and Mitosis Worksheet (Included)
-Cell cycle cut outs (included)
-Step by step powerpoint directions (included)
-one brass paper fastener per student (I have seen paperclips converted for the same use if you want to keep costs low)
-cell division and mitosis notes (NOT INCLUDED-this assignment will work with ANY cell cycle and mitosis notes, but a sample key is included to show what I asked of my classes.)
-colored pencils/markers

This product does include a sample key, but it can be used with any cell cycle and mitosis notes, and can be as specific or general as you wish!

I recommend looking through the powerpoint before presenting it, and devising a time allotment that works for your students for each slide so that students stay on task and focused.
