This is a fun way to reinforce the basics of cell cycle and mitosis. In this activity the students will get 24 (!!!) puzzle pieces and have to arrange them into 6 completed puzzles. The puzzles cover INTERPHASE, PROPHASE, METAPHASE, ANAPHASE, TELOPHASE, and CYTOKINESIS. Each individual puzzle consists of a picture of that particular stage, stage name, and two descriptors.
The students enjoyed this activity, it helped with kinesthetic learners and visual learners.
